In The Know

Chrysler Is Back!

The 2000s were a misunderstood era for many American brands. It’s a decade that not many remember for being excellent in design.

However, there were some really cool cars back then

It was all thanks to the rising popularity of video games and a desire to break away from the boxy cars of the past. Do you remember this video game

We would have loved it if some concepts had entered production, such as this one.

When designers brought back iconic looks from decades and combined them with modern technology and more powerful engines, there was potential.

And (sometimes), the results were fantastic. Check out this list and let us know if you agree.

Call it nostalgia, but this should’ve been a recipe for success. After all, as this article explains, some 2000s-era cars still perform great.

Chrysler was among the most experimental of the lot. Working with Mercedes-Benz, they had access to platforms such as the SLK, which led to the Crossfire.

It’s grossly underrated. As this article explains, its prices are increasing.

Another excellent product was the Chrysler 300. Thanks to its large hood and grille, it brought back the massive presence of the sedans of yesteryear, and you could choose from several powerful V8s.

Then, there’s the PT Cruiser. Defending this car is a challenge, especially the convertible. But let’s not forget that Chrysler produced 100,000 of these.

This article shines a light on that obscure bit of automotive history.

Overall, Chrysler produced some cool cars, reliability aside.

Yet, now, the brand continues to exist, and everyone wonders why. Many people have written obituaries for the brand in recent times, such as this one.

After all, Chrysler canceled the 300, the last remnant of that once innovative brand, and stuck to selling minivans. Somehow, people are buying minivans again, and that’s how the brand has remained alive.

You might have double-checked one term above: innovative. While a Chrysler Pacifica isn’t groundbreaking, Chrysler has historically been inventive.

From automatic overdrives to rubber engine mounts, here are ten of Chrysler’s most important technological firsts in the automotive industry.

That’s not the only fascinating part of Chrysler’s history. There was also a jaw-dropping concept car that could’ve given European supercars a run for their money. Here’s more on it.

The company has existed for 100 years and has celebrated a century of existence this very year. So, there was a lot of discussion around its future, especially because the milestone felt bittersweet.

However, let’s celebrate some of the greatest cars Chrysler has produced in a century.

No one had any hope; to make matters worse, Stellantis owns it. Here’s more on how Stellantis has struggled recently.

Yet, Chrysler shocked the world in 2025. The Chief of Design at Stellantis announced that Chrysler was making a massive comeback with something none of us expected: an SUV.

Here’s more on it. But then, there was another curve: a sedan. I have to say, it looks great.

From the looks of it, Chrysler isn’t out just yet, and we’re excited. No brand with 100 years of history should die in oblivion.
